Oh, Deviantart. You make me smile. Or rather the artist that this account represents makes me smile. It's like a perfect little bubble, a time machine back to high school and early college. I haven't updated this in a very long time. I know. Shame on me. For those of you that don't know, I'm a third of the way done with my second year at SCAD. This past quarter I officially declared myself a Fibers major and could not be happier. Thus far, I love the program and the faculty. Fibers is so intriguing, and I've learn so many new skills from weaving to felting to repeat pattern techniques. I'm eager to take more classes within the department. Although I'm a Fibers major, I have not totally given up on Graphic Design. I plan to use my free electives to take Graphic Design classes, at least Typography and Web Design. This account is

Let's see... My first year at SCAD has been going great thus far. Right now I'm in a quandary over my major. I just might forsake good ole Graphic Design for Fibers. Most of you probably don't know what Fibers is, but it is a very broad major that covers most anything that has to do with fabric and pattern. If I major in it, I'll go into the textile design category and design the patterns and such on fabric. Yea, it's pretty awesome. :) This thing desperately needs an update. So, when I get a bit of elusive time, look for some new stuff from this past Winter Quarter and the current Spring Quarter.
